This tube utilizes a wide, sphere-shaped photocathode with specially designed optics. CF-Super technology provides edge-to-edge image clarity and increased resolution. One of the many advantages to this technology is that CF-Super-based night vision devices have a high resolution and geometric image precision, allowing for effective observation of an object. Aside from its high resolution, CF-Super images are not distorted at the edge of the field-of-view, which is common in low-cost night vision devices using standard Gen. 1 tubes.
Complete with a built in IR illuminator, this advanced unit yields itself well to surveillance capabilities and nighttime hunting and spotting.
