They utilize a single auto-gated, thin-filmed Law Enforcement tube with high 57-64 lp/mm resolution for use of both eyes and more range of sight. The auto-gating feature maintains the operator's visibility of their target by adapting the image intensifier tube to dynamic lighting conditions such as in urban environments. These goggles also feature an integrated IR illuminator, providing optimal lighting for the darkest conditions.
With its exceptional battery life, the unit operates at a maximum of 30 hours on two AA batteries. Its low battery/IR indicator lets the operator know when the battery is low or the IR illuminator is activated. This device includes a green, military soft case with shoulder strap for added protection, and an official data sheet that confirms the unit has been tested and matched spec for spec.
